Richard Atkinsion, CEO

Richard is an experienced manager of start-up technology companies.  He holds an MBA from a leading European business school and has a background in automotive engineering.  He has led the company from its first commercial funding. Richard holds an MBA from IESE Business School, Barcelona, a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University. He is also a Chartered engineer and a Sainsbury Management Fellow.


Dr Joy Mitra, CTO

Dr Joy Mitra is an Associate professor at the Department of Psychology at the University of Warwick and a leader in visual cognition research. He is the inventor of Opscape’s patented technology. His research interests include the areas of perceptual-motor coordination, embodied cognition and dynamic systems. He has published a large number of research papers in the field. Joy holds a BA degree from Dartmouth College, New Hampshire, USA and a PhD in the area of Experimental Psychology from the University of Connecticut, New England, USA.


John Morley, Chairman

John has 30 years’ experience in software, 17 of them in Business Intelligence.  He has held senior posts in blue-chip software companies and successfully led start-ups in the enterprise application software and IT service sectors including Brio (now Hyperion, part of Oracle Corp.) and Siebel Analytics.


Opscape was spun out of Warwick University as a limited company and has been funded amongst others by the Mercia Technology Seed Fund, Spinner Fund and SMIF Fund.
